[ He smiles, nodding his head. ]

Certainly. I've plenty of training to do to achieve my own goals, as well. As long as you do not punch me into a hundred tiny pieces like you did that mushroom.

That sounds great! I could probably do some training with weapons here, but...

[ He wouldn't have them back home, right? ]

But what? Becoming more informed about different modes of fighting styles will always be a boon in battle. And what better what to learn than to wield the weapon itself? I'll even let you use mine if you like.

[ His eyes brighten, excited. ]

I'm best with my fists, so learning a weapon might be cool, just in case.

What? Real magic? Yeah, I wanna see!

[ Like he doesn't see people use "magic" daily... ]

[There's something novel about seeing other people's magic, though, and Rowan gets that.

He taps at the tilt of his blade.]

All right, well... [Glancing about, spotting another huge mushroom nearby.] How about we make that one our next target, then?

[eyescar]

Yeah!

[ Yuji moves over, but then takes a few steps back, just in case of more explosions. ]

I'm ready to be amazed!

I hope not to disappoint.

[He unsheathes the katana-like blade, and steps forward to make sure he's given enough of a wide berth. And then, with a crystal-like hum, the edge begins to thrum with blue magic.

Rowan gives it a single, swift swing. The blade arcs through the air and issues out a similar arc of blue magic, charging forward in a "slash", meeting the mushroom and rending it in two. One side falls lopsided.]

[eyescar]

Woah!

[ His eyes widen, and he leans forward a little to get a look at the mushroom. Way cooler than just exploding it... ]
